Old Fashion Rose

This is NOT free standing lace. 

It is stitched on fabric and done as an applique on to water soluble stabilizer.
It is designed to allow the fabric color to show through and mix with the thread color for a beautiful blended effect.  

Stack three layers as in the sample and secure with a brad or use a few pieces of heavy thread strung with one bead each.
Center the bead, double the thread.

Grab all the thread ends together and using a yarn needle, pull them all through the center.
Secure on the back.

VERY easy and complete directions are included.
