Scarf/Shawl Vest

This project is for transforming a purchased scarf or shawl into a wearable vest by cutting and finishing, the arm holes.
To be clear, this design is for creating the arm holes. It is not for the scarf or the lace edges. You will need to purchase a scarf or fabric for this project.

The scarf shown was purchased and measures 60 inches by 30 inches (not including the fringe).

You can use a purchased scarf or shawl, but you can also use purchased fabric such as fleece.
